Start a new Thanksgiving tradition for you and your family at The Great Turkey Trot 5K at Southern Hill Farms.

When: Sunday, November 19, 2023

Start/Finish: Southern Hills Farm, 16651 Schofield Rd, Clermont, FL 34714

Race Day Schedule:

  • 8:00am - 5K start

  • 9:00am - 5K Awards

  • 9:30am - Kids Race start

The Great Turkey Trot 5K features:

  • All 5K participants receive a chip timed race, race shirt and finisher medal PLUS a world-famous Apple Cider Donut from Southern Hill Farms

  • Kids Race participants will receive a race medal and bib. Distances vary between 50 yard to 200 yard dashes depending on the age and ability of your child.

  • Enjoy the fun and festive atmosphere at Southern Hills Farm

  • Photo ops and themed entertainment along the course.

  • Join in the fun post-race with festive treats, music, and more for the whole family!

Registration Fees - WE ARE SOLD OUT FOR 2023!

  • 5K
    $35 regular registration (before 11/4/2023)
    $40 late registration (on or after 11/4/2022)

  • Kids Races presented by Urban Air Adventure Park
    $15 regular registration

Registration closes at 6pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Race Day registration may be available but is not guaranteed.

Run the Holidays with Us!

Packet Pick Up

  • Early Packet Pick-up will take place on Friday, November 17th from 11am - 5:30pm at the Dream Finder Homes located at 15209 Lake Lamonia Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787.

  • If you are not able to attend early packet pick up on Friday, Race Day Packet Pick Up will take place on Sunday, November 19 at Southern Hill Farms beginning at 6:45am.

Parking

  • FREE parking is available at Southern Hills Farm. Follow signs to GATE 4 to access the Public parking lot. There are signs directing you by Southern Hills Farm to Gate 4 off of Schofield Road.

Results & Awards

  • All 5K finishers will receive a medal

  • 5K awards include the following:

    Top 3 Overall Male and Females

    Top Overall Master award - Male and Female

    Top 3 Male and Female age group awards in the following categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

  • Check out your 2023 race results!

Course

  • The 5K course is run through Southern Hills Farm and is ALL dirt trail. Please remember to wear your bib on the front of your shirt.

  • 1 water station is located approx at the 1.5 mile location on the course.
